Honoring the stories of strength, courage and resilience amongst breast cancer veteresses

More Than Awareness
Behind every breast cancer diagnosis is a woman whose identity, experiences, and contributions extend far beyond her illness.
Through In Her Honor, The Elavia Foundation invites Grenada's young writers to recognize these women not simply for the challenges they have faced, but for the lives they have lived, the people they have inspired, and the stories they continue to tell.
We believe remembrance, compassion, and support should extend beyond a single awareness month.
Because her story is more than her diagnosis.

Let your words become part of her legacy. Behind every tribute is a story worth preserving, a woman worth celebrating, and a voice willing to honor her.
Through In Her Honor, your words become more than an essay. They become an expression of gratitude, compassion, and remembrance. We invite you to share your literary tribute and contribute to a collection of voices celebrating the strength, experiences, and enduring legacies of women who have faced breast cancer.

A Woman’s Story Does Not End With Her Diagnosis.
She is more than the battles she has fought, the pain she has endured, or the strength she has been asked to summon. She is a lifetime of dreams, memories, love, and experiences that no diagnosis could ever define.
Through remembrance, we honor not only her courage but the fullness of her womanhood.
Because her story is not simply one of survival, but of a life worthy of celebration.
